About Me: I am blessed to be the Director of the Disciples Justice Action Network, the coordinator of the Disciples Center for Public Witness, and the co-convener with Rev. Brenda Cardwell (Senior Pastor of Pilgrimage Christian Church in Suitland, MD) of the Disciples Advocacy and Witness Network in the Christian Church Capital Area. I am also blessed to be involved in diverse ecumenical, interfaith, and religious-secular coalitions working for greater justice, peace, inclusion, and the celebration of diversity. I am even more blessed to be the happily married partner of Emily Hope Brooker Langston (a professor at St. John's College) and the extremely proud father of Rachael Elizabeth Brooker Langston (who will be 10 years old this July, 2008). But I am most blessed to be a child of God, a saved sinner, and a sanctified member of the Body of Christ who has been called and empowered by God to carry out, however imperfectly, a ministry of justice advocacy. (One more thing: I'm a huge Tar Heel Basketball fan!)
