Favorite Books: Since I'm a fiction writer, I'm finicky about what fiction I like. My true favorites are "Prairy Erth" by William Least Heat Moon and "Undaunted Courage" by Stephen Ambrose side-by-side with the Journals of Lewis and Clark. Fictionwise, I like Barbara Kingsolver's "Poisonwood Bible" and Paul Theroux's "Mosquito Coast." I'm still trying to write my favorite fiction work, so I'll get back to you when it's published.
Favorite Films: Apollo 13; Dances With Wolves; Blazing Saddles; Nightmare Before Christmas; Search for the Holy Grail; the last third of Far and Away.
