Am I Overflowing in Faith?

Jesus - Before His Ministry: Luke 4:1

  "Then Jesus, being filled with the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit [a]into the wilderness."

Stephen's Ministry: Acts 6:8

"8 And Stephen, full of [b]faith and power, did great wonders and signs among the people. 9 Then there arose some from what is called the Synagogue of the Freedmen (Cyrenians, Alexandrians, and those from Cilicia and Asia), disputing with Stephen. 10 And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the Spirit by which he spoke. "

Barnabas's Ministry: Acts 11:22-24

"22 Then news of these things came to the ears of the church in Jerusalem, and they sent out Barnabas to go as far as Antioch. 23 When he came and had seen the grace of God, he was glad, and encouraged them all that with purpose of heart they should continue with the Lord. 24 For he was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and of faith. And a great many people were added to the Lord."

Joshua's Ministry: Deuteronomy 34:9

"9 Now Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom, for Moses had laid his hands on him; so the children of Israel heeded him, and did as the Lord had commanded Moses."

Micah's Ministry: Micah 3:8-12

"8  But truly I am full of power by the Spirit of the Lord,

And of justice and might,

To declare to Jacob his transgression

And to Israel his sin.

9  Now hear this,

You heads of the house of Jacob

And rulers of the house of Israel,

Who abhor justice

And [e]pervert all equity,

10 Who build up Zion with bloodshed

And Jerusalem with iniquity:

11  Her heads judge for a bribe,

Her priests teach for pay,

And her prophets divine for [f]money.

Yet they lean on the Lord, and say,

“Is not the Lord among us?

No harm can come upon us.”

12  Therefore because of you

Zion shall be plowed like a field,

Jerusalem shall become heaps of ruins,

And the mountain of the [g]temple

Like the bare hills of the forest. "
